Update On UEW Demonstration -Tuesday 11 October *# ongoing*#

 Around 3:30 pm Monday, 10 October 2022... the north, south, and central campuses were little calm and conducive compared to 12:00 to 2:30 there about, but still there were still little tension in the various campuses. Which still some of the students fear to even meet for group discussion and also do their online Exams.

some unexpected incidents like crashing Mobile phones and attacks when they see you capturing their activities or movement, a lecturer was sprayed with the gas in fire extinguisher, (TA) Teaching assistant who was invigilating in one of the ongoing examinations was mishandle, spraying of the fire extinguishers just to show signals to students ahead of them, blocking of entrance to some campuses,

all the above activities took place in Monday's demonstration activities...............

The Communique'''' that was released.....

In the evening, A communique was released by the school management, reading that the issue has been resolved and if any student has problem concerning the issue at hand should visit the students help Centre for help. Per information gathered some department has their issues resolved like HYPERs but not fully confirmed and to others stand still. 

Police van trooping..........

This morning too they wanted to continue, though they were able to stop some students from writing their exams, other examination centers experienced throwing of objects and other destructive things just to destruct those who were writing their exams under the supervision and protection of the police personnel available....

To their surprise, there was a mass of security personnel trooping into the various campuses that has brought the activities of the demonstrators to minimal point.
