20 African countries Denied  vist to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) That is, those Countries are not allowed to enter Dubai, according to DW Africa.

Ban is now in effect.


These are the Countries: Senegal, Benin, Côte d'Ivoire, Congo, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Comoros, Cameroon, Nigeria, Liberia, Burundi, Republic of Guinea, Gambia, Togo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Cameroon and Uganda.


According to the German-based news agency, one of the reasons for the ban is that many people entering the country on visit visas end up staying illegally while working without legalizing their stay.



The UAE has stopped issuing tourist visas to people under the age of 40, except for those applying for family visas, according to the Emirates government, which has "introduced a new visa regime." The announcement was made by the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs just over a month ago.



Ghana and other African countries were previously barred from entering Dubai.


Due to the spread of the Omicron Covid-19 strain, Emirates announced on 28 December 2021 that it will not allow travel to or through Dubai for eight African countries until further notice. Did.
